Travel Safely

Prepare for a safe and comfortable journey by checking country health requirements for COVID-19 It is your responsibility to ensure that you travel with the correct health documentation as failure to do so might result in denied boarding.

Travel to Armenia

 There are restrictions on the passengers who can enter Armenia  at this time. Please check the requirements before you travel.

  1. In case of symptoms of COVID-19, passengers will be quarantined in a Hospital.
  2. The Entrance to the Republic of Armenia will be refused to any symptomatic foreign citizen refusing required quarantine in a hospital.
  3. All arriving foreigners or stateless passengers ( except passengers without citizenship or foreigners  with temporary  or permanent  residence  status  of the Republic of Armenia , stateless passengers permanently residing in the Republic  of Armenia  and passengers  granted refugee status  in the Republic of Armenia) are prohibited to enter the territory of the Republic of Armenia  if they don't have a valid certificate  demonstrating a negative  PCR Covid -19 test results upon arrival according point 6 below  or provide the vaccination  certificate of being fully vaccinated  which should have been done 14 days before the arrival two infections  or 28 days if one injection upon arrival .

4 . All arriving citizens of the Republic of Armenia (Citizens of the Republic of Armenia and family members who are not citizens of the Republic of Armenia, without citizenship or foreigners with temporary or permanent residence status of the Republic of Armenia, stateless passengers permanently residing in the Republic of Armenia and passengers granted refugee status in the Republic of Armenia) For Entrance to the  Republic of Armenia must be informed by responsible  organizations or company about payable sampling (PCR COVID-19 TEST) at the airport before arrival in the  Republic of Armenia or provide a valid certificate demonstrating a negative PCR COVID-19 test  valid results upon arrival according point 6 below or provide the vaccination certificate of being fully vaccinated which should be done 14 days before arrival due to two injections or 28 days if one injection results upon arrival .

5.The Arriving passengers mentioned in the article above who have to pass the PCR COVID-19 Test onsite at the airport in the Republic of Armenia must undergo self-isolation until the test results are available. Under standard circumstances the test results are available within 48 hours in case of negative PCR COVID-19 TEST results the self-isolation requirement will be cancelled.

6.In case of providing a certificate with a negative (PCR covid-19  ) test results upon arrival the test results must be  available  in English or Russian or Armenian and be performed no later than 72 hours before arrival. For children below 6 years 11 months and 29 days the certificate is not required.

The date of the sampling is required in the certificate The negative PCR Covid -19 test.

“Starting from the 9th of April 2022 00:00, the Government of the Czech Republic decided to lift all travel restrictions for entry and return from all countries to the Czech Republic related to the COVID-19 pandemics, to be as it was before the pandemics.”

Requirements for entering the Egyptian territory in light of the international epidemiological situation of yellow fever disease:

Vaccination requirements and recommendations for international travelers to enter Egyptian territory with regard to yellow fever, and the update for the year 2022 regarding the requirements of the Arab Republic of Egypt for international travelers (incoming and outgoing) regarding yellow fever disease, knowing that these requirements change according to the international epidemiological situation and risk assessment.

Countries affected by yellow fever:

Africa Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Sudan, Togo and Uganda.

Americas Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela.

Preventive measures when traveling to countries affected by yellow fever:

Travelers to areas affected by yellow fever are vaccinated ten days before travel, and this vaccination is sufficient for a long-term person life, except for people over the age of 60 years. When traveling to areas affected by yellow fever, it is preferable to re-vaccinate again after ten years of the last vaccination, after examining the traveler’s doctor from the International Vaccination Office and evaluating his health condition and the possibility of vaccinating him. Entry requirements to Egyptian territory for passengers and aircraft crews coming from countries affected by yellow fever disease.

It is necessary to present a valid international vaccination certificate for arriving passengers according to the following:

Areas affected by the risk of yellow fever transmission listed above. Transit passengers arriving from countries not affected by yellow fever, but who have stayed for more than 12 hours in transit within the airport of a country affected by yellow fever.

There are restrictions on the passengers who can enter Germany at this time. Please check the requirements before you travel.

*Vaccinated Passengers:

Passenger is considered fully vaccinated under the following conditions:

1- The vaccine must be listed on the website of the PAUL-EHRLICH-Institute.

2- The passenger must have received the complete dose of the vaccine that is required for complete protection against COVID-19.

3- At least 14 days have passed since the last dose of vaccine except for recovered passenger.

4- Passenger is citizen of state whose entry requirements are not subject to reciprocity. Reciprocity reservations currently exist for following state; China.

5- The passenger has not stayed in VOC during the last 10 days.

Proof of immunization

*Passenger must have a digital COVID certificate of European union (EU-DCC) or equivalent proof of vaccination before departure of the flight.

*The accepted languages of the certificate of the vaccine are (English, German, Italian, French or Spanish)

*The certificate of vaccination must contain

1-Personal data of the vaccinated person (first name, last name, and date of birth).

2-Date of vaccination.

3-Number of doses of the vaccine.

4-Name of the vaccine.

5-Name of the disease against which the vaccine was received.

6-An indication to the institute responsible for the vaccine.

Entry of Germany is permitted from third countries who have imperative need to travel which are:

1-EU citizens and third countries who have the right of residence in Germany.

2-Healthcare workers.

3-Skilled and highly qualified foreign workers if their employment is important.

4-Seasonal workers in agriculture.

5-Freight transport.

6-Seafarers.

7-Forgien student, trainee, and volunteer.

8-Persons in need of international protection.

9-Ethenic German settlers.

10-Persons who are immigrating to Germany in purpose of joining their families or for short family visits of core family members (husband, wife, minor children, parents of minor children) or unmarried partners in relationship with German citizenship, EU citizenship, or third countries with right residence in Germany or joint short-term visit of couples who residing together in third country for important reason

11-Passengers in transit.

 

*Conditions for passengers who will be in transit:

1-Time spent in Germany is limited to the duration of direct transit to the destination state.

2-The third country passenger is allowed to enter their destination state.

3-The third country is not designated as an area of variants of concern.

Exemptions

THE RESTRICTIONS DO NOT APPLY TO:

1-German citizens.

2-Passengers who have resided and last stayed in the following countries and regions: Albania, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brunei, Canada, Honk Kong, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon Macao, Moldova, New Zealand, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine.

4-Children who are under 12 if accompanied by at least one fully vaccinated parent.

There are restrictions on the passengers who can enter Italy at this time. Please check the requirements before you travel.

From Egypt to Italy

All passengers arriving from Egypt:

- MUST make a quick swab 48 hours before departure (also Green Pass holders) including children from 6 years old MUST carry out registration on the following link.
- On arrival in Italy MUST observe 10 days quarantine and carry out a follow-up test at the end.

 From Italy to Egypt

All passengers leaving on our flights from Italy to Egypt will have to introduce to the boarding
one of the following documents:

  • GREEN PASS CERTIFICATION: is accepted only if the cycle of the two doses has been completed, and only if 15 days have elapsed from the date of administration of the second dose to the date of departure.
  • GREEN PASS HOLDERS FOR COVID HEALING: MUST carry out COVID-19 PCR QR-CODE TEST 72 hours before departure. 
  • NON VACCINATED passengers MUST hold a COVID-19 PCR TEST 72 hours before departure.
  • Swab is also required for children from the age of 6.
  • All result of PCR TEST MUST necessarily has QR-CODE.

All the above documentation must be shown in paper form at check-in desks.
Also GREEN PASS must be printed in all its parts (not only the QR-CODE)

A) Passengers From Outside Jordan Are Required To Visit:

Prior To Departure, Visit The Https://Www.Visitjordan.Gov.Jo Portal, Complete The Required Form, And Obtain The Qr Code, Which Is Required.

Distributed To Airline Personnel Prior To Boarding And On Arrival.

Exceptions Are As Follows:

-Passengers From Jordan And Their Families, Wives, And Children

No Matter What Their Nationality Is.

- Passengers In Transit

B) Non-Jordanians Must Provide Proof Of Health Insurance.

- Exemptions Involved Include:

- Patients On Medical Tour.

2- Diplomatic Qr Holders (Diplomats And Regional And Local Employees)

International Organizations (And Their Dependents And Family Members)

Holding Diplomatic Passports, Special Passports, Or Regular Passports

Passports) Include A Permanent Diplomatic Qr Code To Demonstrate Their Validity.

Does Not Expire, And It Is Possible To Return With This Code To

Jordan Is Exempt From:

- Health Insurance

3- Military Qr Holders, Are Allowed Entry Into Jordan Provided Health Insurance For Non-Jordanians.

Travel eligibility

The below categories of passengers may enter Kuwait:

First: - Vaccinated Passengers:

  • Those who vaccinated with approved vaccines in the state of Kuwait: -

     - Pfizer BioNTech vaccine (two doses).

     - AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine (two doses).

     - Moderna vaccine (two doses).

     - Johnson & Johnson vaccine (one dose).

  • In addition to the above vaccinated passengers, those who received two doses of one of the unapproved vaccines in the state of Kuwait (Sino pharm – Sinovac - Sputnik) must receive at least one additional dose of one of the approved vaccines in the state of Kuwait.

Second: Proof of immunization: -

  • Immunized in the state of Kuwait:

Must proof immunization upon arrival to the country through (Immune or Kuwait mobile ID or Kuwait-Mosafer).

  • Immunized outside the state of Kuwait:

Immunization to be proven by presenting vaccination certificate includes the following:

  • Name matching to travel passport.
  • Type of vaccination received.
  • Date of doses taken.
  • Name of vaccine agency.
  • Electronic Readable QR code. If no QR code is available, then vaccination certificate must be uploaded through Ministry of Health website for authentication.

Third: Domestic worker: -  Non-immunized domestic workers can be recruited as listed in the above Item (FIRST) by registration in (Bilsalamah) platform.

  1. No more Quarantine is required anymore.
  2. Travelers must adhere to the measures in place in the State of Qatar to limit the spread of COVID-19 at all times.
  3. COVID-19 Country Red Risk Classification is no longer applicable.
  4. Quarantine is no longer mandatory for all travelers arriving from abroad, however, travelers who test positive for COVID-19 after arriving in Qatar must undergo quarantine measures by the procedures followed in the State of Qatar.
  5. Citizens and residents of the State of Qatar must take a Rapid Antigen (RAT) test within 24 hours upon arrival in the State of Qatar at one of the Primary Health Care Centers or private medical centers, noting that the health status in the Ehteraz application will be updated to become gray in case of non-compliance with the test procedure.
  6. Visitors must bring a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test certificate with a negative result valid for 48 hours or a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) certificate valid for 24 hours, from the scheduled flight to the State of Qatar. Note that the Rapid antigen self-test is not valid for travel purposes.
  7. GCC nationals and residents must download the Ehteraz mobile app and activate it on their mobile phones using a local or international SIM card, noting that they are excluded from the pre-entry online registration.

Starting from 6th of March 2022:

  • Lifting the suspension of all flights coming and departing to theٍSaudi kingdom from the following countries (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, Malawi, Mauritius, Zambia, Madagascar, Angola, Seychelles, Comoros, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Afghanistan).
  • Submission of a negative result for a PCR test or a rapid antigen test for the coronavirus before coming to the kingdom is not required.
  • Institutional quarantine and home quarantine are no longer required for passengers coming to the kingdom.
  • Visit visa holders are required to have insurance to cover the costs of coronavirus (Covid-19) infection treatment during their stay in the kingdom.
  • Failure to comply with circulars issued by GACA is an explicit violation of government orders procedures that will be initiated against violators who will be held responsible.
