Prepare for a safe and comfortable journey by checking country health requirements for COVID-19 It is your responsibility to ensure that you travel with the correct health documentation as failure to do so might result in denied boarding.

Travel to Armenia

 There are restrictions on the passengers who can enter Armenia  at this time. Please check the requirements before you travel.

  1. In case of symptoms of COVID-19, passengers will be quarantined in a Hospital.
  2. The Entrance to the Republic of Armenia will be refused to any symptomatic foreign citizen refusing required quarantine in a hospital.
  3. All arriving foreigners or stateless passengers ( except passengers without citizenship or foreigners  with temporary  or permanent  residence  status  of the Republic of Armenia , stateless passengers permanently residing in the Republic  of Armenia  and passengers  granted refugee status  in the Republic of Armenia) are prohibited to enter the territory of the Republic of Armenia  if they don't have a valid certificate  demonstrating a negative  PCR Covid -19 test results upon arrival according point 6 below  or provide the vaccination  certificate of being fully vaccinated  which should have been done 14 days before the arrival two infections  or 28 days if one injection upon arrival .

4 . All arriving citizens of the Republic of Armenia (Citizens of the Republic of Armenia and family members who are not citizens of the Republic of Armenia, without citizenship or foreigners with temporary or permanent residence status of the Republic of Armenia, stateless passengers permanently residing in the Republic of Armenia and passengers granted refugee status in the Republic of Armenia) For Entrance to the  Republic of Armenia must be informed by responsible  organizations or company about payable sampling (PCR COVID-19 TEST) at the airport before arrival in the  Republic of Armenia or provide a valid certificate demonstrating a negative PCR COVID-19 test  valid results upon arrival according point 6 below or provide the vaccination certificate of being fully vaccinated which should be done 14 days before arrival due to two injections or 28 days if one injection results upon arrival .

5.The Arriving passengers mentioned in the article above who have to pass the PCR COVID-19 Test onsite at the airport in the Republic of Armenia must undergo self-isolation until the test results are available. Under standard circumstances the test results are available within 48 hours in case of negative PCR COVID-19 TEST results the self-isolation requirement will be cancelled.

6.In case of providing a certificate with a negative (PCR covid-19  ) test results upon arrival the test results must be  available  in English or Russian or Armenian and be performed no later than 72 hours before arrival. For children below 6 years 11 months and 29 days the certificate is not required.

  • From the 1st of March, all foreign nationals/residents entering the country fully vaccinated passengers are accepted.

General policy:

  1. The State of Qatar replaced the current classification of countries with two new lists (green and red) and added to them a secondary list that includes the exceptional red countries, based on indicators of international and local health risks.
  2. Citizens and residents can travel abroad at any time, provided that they adhere to the travel and return policy upon returning to the country.
  3. The Ministry of Public Health advises citizens and residents to adhere to the COVID-19 health measures applied in the country of destination.
  4. Travelers are responsible for finding out about any changes to the travel and return policy through official sources and websites before planning to travel to Qatar.
  5. Travelers must abide by the procedures in force in the State of Qatar to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
  6. The Ministry of Public Health continuously examines and monitors travelers returning from abroad in order to maintain public health safety, knowing that travelers may be subject to random examination upon arrival in the State of Qatar.​
  7.   11. Travelers should see the quarantine policy for detailed instructions according to the classification of the country of arrival.
  12. In the case of home quarantine, the accommodation conditions must be appropriate, and in the event that the accommodation does not comply with the conditions mentioned in the undertaking, the traveler must book a hotel quarantine package through the Discover Qatar website before traveling to Qatar.
  13. Travelers coming to the State of Qatar should go to the Covid-19 test clinic at the port of arrival in the event that any symptoms related to Covid-19 appear, while taking the necessary isolation measures.
  14. These policies apply to arrivals through all ports of the country.

  • A positive Serology Antibody test is mandatory before traveling to Qatar for people who have received two doses of one of the conditionally approved vaccines, and 14 days after the second dose, and only in this case will the traveler be considered fully immunized.  
  • Persons who have received two doses of one of the conditionally approved vaccines, followed by one dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine and 14 days have passed, will be considered fully immunized.
  • Travelers who are fully immunized outside the country with one of the vaccines licensed by the Ministry of Public Health in the State of Qatar must submit the original vaccine certificate and other supporting documents written in Arabic or English that prove that they have received the vaccine. The following information should be available in the vaccine certificates:
    • The name of the traveler, provided that it matches the passport.
    • Dose dates according to the type of vaccine (one dose for Janssen and two doses for other vaccines).
    • Type/name of the vaccine.
    • Vaccine serial number (if available).


Travelers who have recovered from COVID-19:

  1. Citizens and residents in the State of Qatar recovering from Covid-19 infection, or people recovering in any of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and subsequently obtained at least one dose of vaccines licensed by the Ministry of Public Health, and the duration of immunity for a person recovering from the Covid-virus 19 (12) months, starting from the fourteenth (14) day after recovery, or 14 days after receiving the vaccine dose if you recover.
  2. Travelers recovering from COVID-19 in any of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries must submit an official certificate proving their previous infection with the COVID-19 virus and get the vaccine.

It is prohibited to accept any passenger holding a tourist visa to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without obtaining a barcode from the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, as the traveler to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia must obtain a regulatory barcode through the Egyptian portal for Umra, except for the following visas:

- Visit visa (family-commercial-businessmen-conferences-traffic)

- Visas granted to holders of official passports of all kinds (diplomatic-special-important), and visas granted to official fuels.

- Residence visa.

Starting from 6th of March 2022:

  • Lifting the suspension of all flights coming and departing to theٍSaudi kingdom from the following countries (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, Malawi, Mauritius, Zambia, Madagascar, Angola, Seychelles, Comoros, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Afghanistan).
  • Submission of a negative result for a PCR test or a rapid antigen test for the coronavirus before coming to the kingdom is not required.
  • Institutional quarantine and home quarantine are no longer required for passengers coming to the kingdom.
  • Visit visa holders are required to have insurance to cover the costs of coronavirus (Covid-19) infection treatment during their stay in the kingdom.
  • Failure to comply with circulars issued by GACA is an explicit violation of government orders procedures that will be initiated against violators who will be held responsible.

For those travelling to Slovakia, it is mandatory to register at eHranica as well as registering on the website of the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic and fill in the
(Passenger Locator Form) PDF file prior to their travel.
Kindly note that the quarantine for unvaccinated passengers is no longer mandatory,
However, it is highly recommended to monitor your health and to contact your doctor or pediatrician in case of Covid-19 symptoms.

Persons over 12 years and two months of age entering Slovakia by air from countries not listed in Annex no. 1 of the Decree must be able to demonstrate, at the request of a member of the Police Force, a negative result of the RT-PCR test for COVID-19 not older than 72 hours.

Transit through Slovakia

  • The compulsory registration and isolation do not apply to persons transiting through Slovakia. Those are:
  • persons and their family members travelling to the country of their residence or nationality
  • EU citizens and their family members travelling to another EU Member State
  • Other persons who do not meet the conditions set out in point a) or b) upon approval by the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic

Persons transiting through Slovakia must cross Slovak territory through the so-called “transport corridors” without stopping, except for the necessary refueling, within eight hours of entering Slovakia.
