Travel Safely

Prepare for a safe and comfortable journey by checking country health requirements for COVID-19 It is your responsibility to ensure that you travel with the correct health documentation as failure to do so might result in denied boarding.

Travel to Armenia

 There are restrictions on the passengers who can enter Armenia  at this time. Please check the requirements before you travel.

  1. In case of symptoms of COVID-19, passengers will be quarantined in a Hospital.
  2. The Entrance to the Republic of Armenia will be refused to any symptomatic foreign citizen refusing required quarantine in a hospital.
  3. All arriving foreigners or stateless passengers ( except passengers without citizenship or foreigners  with temporary  or permanent  residence  status  of the Republic of Armenia , stateless passengers permanently residing in the Republic  of Armenia  and passengers  granted refugee status  in the Republic of Armenia) are prohibited to enter the territory of the Republic of Armenia  if they don't have a valid certificate  demonstrating a negative  PCR Covid -19 test results upon arrival according point 6 below  or provide the vaccination  certificate of being fully vaccinated  which should have been done 14 days before the arrival two infections  or 28 days if one injection upon arrival .

4 . All arriving citizens of the Republic of Armenia (Citizens of the Republic of Armenia and family members who are not citizens of the Republic of Armenia, without citizenship or foreigners with temporary or permanent residence status of the Republic of Armenia, stateless passengers permanently residing in the Republic of Armenia and passengers granted refugee status in the Republic of Armenia) For Entrance to the  Republic of Armenia must be informed by responsible  organizations or company about payable sampling (PCR COVID-19 TEST) at the airport before arrival in the  Republic of Armenia or provide a valid certificate demonstrating a negative PCR COVID-19 test  valid results upon arrival according point 6 below or provide the vaccination certificate of being fully vaccinated which should be done 14 days before arrival due to two injections or 28 days if one injection results upon arrival .

5.The Arriving passengers mentioned in the article above who have to pass the PCR COVID-19 Test onsite at the airport in the Republic of Armenia must undergo self-isolation until the test results are available. Under standard circumstances the test results are available within 48 hours in case of negative PCR COVID-19 TEST results the self-isolation requirement will be cancelled.

6.In case of providing a certificate with a negative (PCR covid-19  ) test results upon arrival the test results must be  available  in English or Russian or Armenian and be performed no later than 72 hours before arrival. For children below 6 years 11 months and 29 days the certificate is not required.

The date of the sampling is required in the certificate The negative PCR Covid -19 test.

It is the responsibility of the passenger to make sure of any changes to the travel and return policy of Czech Republic through the official sources and websites previously mentioned before planning travel.

- 3rd-country nationals who do not have any residence permit issued by Czechia or long-term or permanent residence permit issued by other EU+ country
- 3rd-country nationals who have a short-term visa issued by Czechia before 11th May 2020 or short-term or long-term visa issued by other EU+ country

 

The current rules of return to the Czech Republic for CZ, EU citizens:

  • All persons returning from abroad to the Czech Republic, with the exception of children under the age of 12, are required to fill in an arrival form.
  • 2) People who have been fully vaccinated, people who have had a COVID-19* and children under the age of 12 do not need to take tests.
    3) All other persons are required to pass tests to determine the presence of SARS-CoV-2.

 With a high risk of infection COVID-19 (red color) or with a very high risk of infection (dark red color)

Before entering the Czech Republic by public transport (especially by plane, train, bus), passengers must have a written confirmation from the health service provider about a negative result of the RT-PCR test (max. 72 hours from collection). In the case of citizens of the Czech Republic and their accompanying family members with a temporary residence permit issued in the Czech Republic, European Union citizens with a issued certificate of temporary residence in the Czech Republic, or foreigners with a permanent residence permit in the Czech Republic issued by the Czech Republic before entering the territory of the Czech Republic by public transport may also have a negative result of the antigen test (max. 48 hours from collection). Carriers will not allow carriage for passengers who do not submit a SARS-CoV-2 test and arrival form.



After entering the territory of the Czech Republic, everyone is obliged to undergo an RT-PCR test to determine the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus between the 5th and 7th day. Until the negative result of the RT-PCR test, arrivals everywhere away from home must wear a respirator or similar respiratory protection (without exhalation valve) meeting at least all technical conditions and requirements (for the product), including filtration efficiency of at least 94% according to relevant standards (eg FFP2, CN 95).

 

EXCEPTIONS FOR:

I)  Vaccinated persons:

1) persons who prove themselves by a national certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 issued in accordance with the EU Regulation on the EU digital certificate COVID, provided that vaccination has elapsed at least 14 days after completion of the vaccination schedule and who do not show any symptoms of COVID-19.

2) a national certificate of completed vaccination, ie a written certificate issued at least in English by an authorized body operating in a third country, or a certificate of completed vaccination issued by an authorized body operating in a third country for which an implementing act has been adopted under the EU Digital Certificate Regulation that the person has been vaccinated with an EMA registered medicinal product or a WHO approved medicinal product for emergency use (the list of products is published on the website) The written confirmation must contain the relevant data and it must be possible to verify by remote access directly from the written confirmation.

Vaccinated persons according to the above definition have an exception from the tests, the obligation of the arrival form remains!

 

  1. II) *Persons with a history of Covid-19 disease, ie a person in whom at least 11 days, but not more than 180 days, has elapsed since the first positive result of the RT-PCR test for the presence of SARSCoV-2 virus, which is demonstrated:
  2. a) the COVID-19 disease certificate issued in accordance with the EU regulation on the digital COVID certificate remains the obligation to fill in the arrival form.
  1. b) Pax with a diplomatic note attesting to the isolated isolation due to the Covid -19 disease in the country of departure, with the obligation to fill in an arrival form.

III) Children under the age of 12 do not need to complete an arrival form or undergo an RT-PCR test to determine the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus.

 

OTHER EXCEPTIONS FROM TESTS AND ARRIVAL FORM FOR:

- persons who are authorized to enter the territory of the Czech Republic; who transit within 12 hours via the Czech Republic by land.

Requirements for entering the Egyptian territory in light of the international epidemiological situation of yellow fever disease:

Vaccination requirements and recommendations for international travelers to enter Egyptian territory with regard to yellow fever, and the update for the year 2022 regarding the requirements of the Arab Republic of Egypt for international travelers (incoming and outgoing) regarding yellow fever disease, knowing that these requirements change according to the international epidemiological situation and risk assessment.

Countries affected by yellow fever:

Africa Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Sudan, Togo and Uganda.

Americas Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela.

Preventive measures when traveling to countries affected by yellow fever:

Travelers to areas affected by yellow fever are vaccinated ten days before travel, and this vaccination is sufficient for a long-term person life, except for people over the age of 60 years. When traveling to areas affected by yellow fever, it is preferable to re-vaccinate again after ten years of the last vaccination, after examining the traveler’s doctor from the International Vaccination Office and evaluating his health condition and the possibility of vaccinating him. Entry requirements to Egyptian territory for passengers and aircraft crews coming from countries affected by yellow fever disease.

It is necessary to present a valid international vaccination certificate for arriving passengers according to the following:

Areas affected by the risk of yellow fever transmission listed above. Transit passengers arriving from countries not affected by yellow fever, but who have stayed for more than 12 hours in transit within the airport of a country affected by yellow fever.

*Vaccinated Passengers:

Passenger is considered fully vaccinated under the following conditions:

1- The vaccine must be listed on the website of the PAUL-EHRLICH-Institute.

2- The passenger must have received the complete dose of the vaccine that is required for complete protection against COVID-19.

3- At least 14 days have passed since the last dose of vaccine except for recovered passenger.

4- Passenger is citizen of state whose entry requirements are not subject to reciprocity. Reciprocity reservations currently exist for following state; China.

5- The passenger has not stayed in VOC during the last 10 days.

Proof of immunization

*Passenger must have a digital COVID certificate of European union (EU-DCC) or equivalent proof of vaccination before departure of the flight.

*The accepted languages of the certificate of the vaccine are (English, German, Italian, French or Spanish)

*The certificate of vaccination must contain

1-Personal data of the vaccinated person (first name, last name, and date of birth).

2-Date of vaccination.

3-Number of doses of the vaccine.

4-Name of the vaccine.

5-Name of the disease against which the vaccine was received.

6-An indication to the institute responsible for the vaccine.

Entry of Germany is permitted from third countries who have imperative need to travel which are:

1-EU citizens and third countries who have the right of residence in Germany.

2-Healthcare workers.

3-Skilled and highly qualified foreign workers if their employment is important.

4-Seasonal workers in agriculture.

5-Freight transport.

6-Seafarers.

7-Forgien student, trainee, and volunteer.

8-Persons in need of international protection.

9-Ethenic German settlers.

10-Persons who are immigrating to Germany in purpose of joining their families or for short family visits of core family members (husband, wife, minor children, parents of minor children) or unmarried partners in relationship with German citizenship, EU citizenship, or third countries with right residence in Germany or joint short-term visit of couples who residing together in third country for important reason

11-Passengers in transit.

 

*Conditions for passengers who will be in transit:

1-Time spent in Germany is limited to the duration of direct transit to the destination state.

2-The third country passenger is allowed to enter their destination state.

3-The third country is not designated as an area of variants of concern.

Exemptions

THE RESTRICTIONS DO NOT APPLY TO:

1-German citizens.

2-Passengers who have resided and last stayed in the following countries and regions: Albania, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brunei, Canada, Honk Kong, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon Macao, Moldova, New Zealand, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine.

4-Children who are under 12 if accompanied by at least one fully vaccinated parent.

From Egypt to Italy

All passengers arriving from Egypt:

- MUST make a quick swab 48 hours before departure (also Green Pass holders) including children from 6 years old MUST carry out registration on the following link.
- On arrival in Italy MUST observe 10 days quarantine and carry out a follow-up test at the end.

 From Italy to Egypt

All passengers leaving on our flights from Italy to Egypt will have to introduce to the boarding
one of the following documents:

  • GREEN PASS CERTIFICATION: is accepted only if the cycle of the two doses has been completed, and only if 15 days have elapsed from the date of administration of the second dose to the date of departure.
  • GREEN PASS HOLDERS FOR COVID HEALING: MUST carry out COVID-19 PCR QR-CODE TEST 72 hours before departure. 
  • NON VACCINATED passengers MUST hold a COVID-19 PCR TEST 72 hours before departure.
  • Swab is also required for children from the age of 6.
  • All result of PCR TEST MUST necessarily has QR-CODE.

All the above documentation must be shown in paper form at check-in desks.
Also GREEN PASS must be printed in all its parts (not only the QR-CODE)

*It is mandatory to wear FFP2 masks on board of all means of transport (including airplane)

There are restrictions on the passengers who can enter Jordan at this time. Please check the requirements before you travel.

Based on recent government decisions, as of December 12, 2021, every passenger must present a negative PCR scan that was taken within 72 hours prior to departure from the primary airport.

-All travelers are required to take a PCR examination upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, and the cost of the examination can be paid through the www.visitjordan.gov.jo platform

-All travelers must visit the  www.visitjordan.gov.jo platform before departing for Jordan, to complete the required form and obtain a QR code.

*Exemptions include: children under the age of 5 years old.

-Proof of Health Insurance is mandatory for Non-Jordanians.

Based on the instructions received from the Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority:

Please follow the following instructions: -

First: Departure from Kuwait:

It is not allowed to travel outside Kuwait for citizens who have been 9 months since receiving the completed dose approved by Kuwait of the anti-Coronavirus vaccine and considered incomplete unless they receive the booster dose of the approved vaccines as of Sunday, January 02, 2022

At exactly 00:01 am, according to the local time of Kuwait.

 

Second: entering to Kuwait:

Not to accept any passenger entering to Kuwait until after submitting a negative (PCR) examination certificate proving that he is free of the Corona virus, provided that it is valid (72) hours from the date of the swab (examination) to the time of acceptance on the flight.

- The home quarantine is applied for a period of (10) days after arrival to Kuwait, with the possibility of ending the quarantine  before the mentioned time  , after doing a PCR examination is performed after 3 days from the arrival time with a negative result, and if the result is positive the quarantine applied for the remaining period and a new PCR examination is done at the end of the period till the result is negative.

*The third dose is mandatory if 9 months have passed since the second dose

* Children below 6 years old are exempted from the negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate requirement.

Third: Proof of Immunization:

Vaccinated in Kuwait:

- Immunization is proven upon coming to the country through ((Immune or Kuwait mobile ID ).

Those who are vaccinated outside Kuwait:

Immunization is proven by presenting the vaccination certificate that includes the following:

  • The name matches the passport.
  • The type of vaccine that was vaccinated with.
  • The date of taking the doses.
  • The name of the vaccination agency.
  • The QR code is readable electronically. In the absence of a QR code, the vaccination certificate is downloaded through the link of the Ministry of Health website for accreditation.

  1. No more Quarantine is required anymore.
  2. Travelers must adhere to the measures in place in the State of Qatar to limit the spread of COVID-19 at all times.
  3. COVID-19 Country Red Risk Classification is no longer applicable.
  4. Quarantine is no longer mandatory for all travelers arriving from abroad, however, travelers who test positive for COVID-19 after arriving in Qatar must undergo quarantine measures by the procedures followed in the State of Qatar.
  5. Citizens and residents of the State of Qatar must take a Rapid Antigen (RAT) test within 24 hours upon arrival in the State of Qatar at one of the Primary Health Care Centers or private medical centers, noting that the health status in the Ehteraz application will be updated to become gray in case of non-compliance with the test procedure.
  6. Visitors must bring a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test certificate with a negative result valid for 48 hours or a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) certificate valid for 24 hours, from the scheduled flight to the State of Qatar. Note that the Rapid antigen self-test is not valid for travel purposes.
  7. GCC nationals and residents must download the Ehteraz mobile app and activate it on their mobile phones using a local or international SIM card, noting that they are excluded from the pre-entry online registration.

There are some restrictions currently in place regarding which travelers may be allowed into Saudi Arabia,so please check the requirements before you travel.

The acceptance of all passengers from all countries who received one dose of the vaccine inside the kingdom, and applying of institutional quarantine for three days starting from Saturday 04/12/2021 at 01:00 am.

For those who didn’t receive the vaccine or received two doses outside the kingdom the institutional quarantine will be applied for five days starting from Wednesday 01/12/2021 then a PCR exam will be done for those who are 18 years old or above starting from the fifth day of quarantine.

Following categories are exempted from the institutional quarantine:

  1. Those who received two doses of vaccine inside the kingdom.
  2. Medical staff.
  3. Teaching staff who received one or two doses of vaccine inside the kingdom
