Excess Baggage

If you are travelling with more baggage, choose an additional second baggage item up to
23 kg and get your holidays off to a relaxing start without any extra waiting at the airport.

Book your baggage allowance online right after you book your flight, or at any other time
through Extras and save up to 25 percent! Baggage allowance packages can be booked up
to 8 hours prior to departure.

Any baggage more than the limits mentioned in the free allowance Section will be subject
to the following excess baggage charges.

Please note

  • The above-mentioned prices apply only on flights operated and marketed by Air Cairo. 
  • Except for Middle East Destinations, All excess baggage preferred rates are per additional piece. 
  • The overweight must not exceed 32 Kgs and the oversize must not exceed the 203 cm.
  • Excess baggage is accepted subject to space availability.
  • Please arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before your normal check-in time in case of possessing excess baggage.
  • Currency exchange may affect the amount to be paid.
  • Applicable taxes are not included in the prices.
  • Our check-in facilities will close 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight.
  • Passengers who exceed the weight limit will be asked to repack their excess baggage into smaller units and pay the appropriate charges before the check in.
  • Overweight baggage: if the weight exceeds 23 kg but not more than 32 kg except for zone 1 and route Cairo Milan-Egypt Morocco-Ouagadougou Dakar.
  • Oversize baggage: If the sum of three dimensions exceeds 158cm but not more than 203cm.
