According to the instructions received from the Egyptian Ministry of Health, all passengers traveling to or from countries affected by Yellow Fever must have the required vaccinations and health certificates to prevent the spread of these diseases.

The following is a list of countries affected by global health regulations:

Africa:

Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Ethiopia, Gabon, Sudan, Niger, Senegal, Uganda, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Chad, Togo, South Sudan, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gambia, Sierra, Leone, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Côte d'Ivoire, Kenya, Liberi, Mali, Mauritania, Nigeria.

South and North America:

Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Bolivia, Trinidad and Tobago, French Guiana, Guyana, Galapagos Islands, Suriname, Venezuela, Colombia.

Precautionary measures for passengers traveling to or returning from countries affected by Yellow Fever:

  • All passengers traveling to countries affected by yellow fever must receive a vaccination at least ten days before their trip from International Vaccination Centers and obtain an International Vaccination Certificate.

Precautionary measures for passengers arriving from countries affected by Yellow Fever:

  • All passengers aged 9 months or older arriving in Egypt from countries affected by Yellow Fever must have a valid International Vaccination Certificate against Yellow Fever.
  • Transiting passengers through Egypt (for more than 12 hours) and arriving from countries affected by Yellow Fever must have a valid International Vaccination Certificate for Yellow Fever.
